Welcome to Foresight. By creating an account and using our mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using the App.

Foresight is a personal financial planning tool designed to help you explore scenarios and visualize your finances. It is not a substitute for professional financial advice. The App does not provide investment, tax, legal, or financial advice. Always consult with qualified professionals before making significant financial decisions.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Foresight, you confirm that you:

Are at least 18 years of age
Have read and understood these Terms
Agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy
Are legally capable of entering into binding agreements

2. Description of Service

Foresight provides tools for:

Tracking and visualizing your personal finances
Creating "what-if" financial scenarios
Monitoring savings goals and debt repayment progress
Receiving insights based on the data you provide

The App relies entirely on information you manually enter. We do not connect to your bank accounts or any external financial institutions.

3. User Accounts

To use Foresight, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

Providing accurate account information
Maintaining the security of your login credentials
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. User Responsibilities

When using the App, you agree to:

Use the App only for lawful purposes
Enter accurate and honest financial information
Not attempt to access other users' accounts or data
Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Not use the App in any way that could damage or impair the service
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

5. Accuracy of Information

The financial projections, forecasts, and insights provided by the App are based solely on the data you enter. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any calculations or projections. You are responsible for:

Verifying the accuracy of data you enter
Understanding that projections are estimates only
Making your own informed financial decisions

6. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
Abuse or misuse the App
Fail to pay any applicable fees (if introduced)

Upon termination, your data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

Foresight and all associated content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

Use our branding without permission
Create derivative works based on the App

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND
WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY FINANCIAL DECISIONS YOU MAKE BASED ON THE APP
WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (IF ANY) IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
